Anyone who’s traveled abroad knows that sometimes it’s tough to be Brazilian, especially in the United States. Amazingly, an uninformed minority is still prejudiced against or completely oblivious about Brazil. Many still think that we speak Spanish and that our capital is Buenos Aires, among other “gems” we hear out there.

* On Sunday, "60 Minutes", one of the most watched TV programs in the US, did an excellent segment on our country. You should checking it out just to see how Americans are changing their old and prejudiced opinions about us. Among those interviewed are Eike Batista and President Lula. On the program’s website, you can even watch a part of the Batista’s interview that was cut in the final edit. In it you’ll see the Mercedes he parks in his living room. A little extravagance from one of the richest men in the world.
