The wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton is scheduled for April 29, 2011, but neither Barack Obama or much less Dilma Rousseff are likely to attend the ceremony. That’s because William decided not to turn the union into a state event, which means that no president or ruler of any country outside the UK will be invited.
* Instead of politicians, William and Kate will invite only friends and family, aside from the commoners to be selected by a draw and representatives of several charities supported by the royal family. Very British, isn’t it?
