Financial Times’ Godfrey Deeny belongs to a group of foreign journalists who loves checking out Fashion Rio up close. Glamurama chatted with him before this Tuesday’s last show, Panachou’s, and asked him about what he most enjoys doing in Rio when he’s here.
* “I like to samba! I love samba! There’s this club I always go to called Democráticos, in Lapa.” Godfrey also told us that he noticed a difference in Rio this season: “The city is cleaner, there’s almost no garbage on the beaches. I think it’s because of the World Cup and the Olympic Games, isn’t it?” About today’s shows, he “loved Alessa’s patterns, they’re something we only find here in Brazil.”
