It seems that relations between Hermès and designer Jean Paul Gaultier are straining. Last year, after seven years as a designer for the French fashion house, Gaultier announced he was leaving his post. Now, there are rumors in Europe that Hermès is ready to sell the 45% stake it holds in the designer’s brand. According to sources, the disagreement between the parties began after the death of Jean-Louis Dumas, CEO of Hermes and responsible for hiring Gaultier.
