The Toronto festival begins on September 8 with a lot of Brazilian flair. Three Brazilian movies will be screened at the festival. They are "Girimunho" of Helvécio Marins and Clarissa Campolina, Karim Aïnouz’s "O Abismo Prateado," and José Henrique Fonseca’s "Heleno.”
* Incidentally, the film tells the story of the soccer player Heleno de Freitas, starring Rodrigo Santoro and Alinne Moraes, and will pre-premiere during the festival. Fernando Meirelles’ “360” will also debut in Toronto. Jude Law and Rachel Weisz, who are part of the cast, will grace the red carpet. Too bad we will only be able to watch "360" here in Brazil in February next year.
